This project is a small holiday apartment in the heart of Meran. Created as a secluded getaway for a relaxing stay, its design invites every visitor to experience the uniqueness of the space as not a spectator, but an important protagonist within its (his)story.
Special requests? To make the most out of a very limited space, and create the wow-effect despite it's size. This is a great example to show that even the smallest apartments can be beautifull and comfortable with the right design.
The nearly all black and white interior design stems from the concept of a space being percieved as the stage of a story or a movie scene. Only one piece of furniture is in colour, resembling the main protagonist of a scene. Each piece of furniture and the layout was carfully chosen and designed to best suite the needs of a short holiday stay.
With round shapes, recalling the lense of a camera, details like a hidden movie projector to enable a private cinema viewing, or a popcorn machine, all play an important role in the ensemble of the design.
