A cozy family hotel with a lot of history and inviting location in the middle of the South Tyrolean Dolomites wants to expand with 12 rooms: The result has everything it needs to be a magical place of positive energy, relaxation and comfort for every guest.

Through a sensible use of space and a sensitive handling of design details, the new rooms are harmoniously integrated into the already existing part of the hotel.

The project includes 12 rooms, two of which are suites with a kitchenette, two suites with a sauna and four double-storey rooms. Each room has a different size and floor plan and the room organization was adapted accordingly. However, the design details remain the same: the wooden slats that rise above the ceiling on the wall and end in a hanging lamp or a hanging chair.

The wooden slats are of different lengths and thus form a visually wild and free weave: as a reference to a lion that is significantly involved as a namesake for the house. This also inspired the colors used for the natural textiles and wooden surfaces: brown earth tones, fiery reddish brown but also a natural green. The hanging lamps in glass take over the colors and immerse the room in a comfortable atmosphere.
