Hotel Gschwangut

Lana, South Tyrol, Italy – 2024

In Lana, nestled between palm trees and mountains, 21 hotel rooms are transformed into a quiet oasis of softness. Where once clean lines prevailed, a new gentleness now takes hold. Curved transitions between walls and ceilings dissolve the rigidity of geometry, creating flowing spaces where landscape and palm garden blend in perfect harmony.
Nearly every piece of furniture is custom-made – with organic, curved shapes that seem as if designed by nature itself. Light natural tones, refined materials, and carefully placed details speak of calm, lightness, and a sense of harmony that lends the rooms an almost dreamlike elegance.

In every room, wallpaper patterns climb across the walls and up to the ceiling, inspired by the lush palm garden. Warm earth tones, soft greens, and a hint of blue fill the spaces with quiet serenity. Natural fabrics and gentle textures create a sense of comfort and protection.

Old meets new – seamlessly and without disruption
The new elements integrate gently into the existing architecture, as if they had always been there. A quiet dialogue emerges between yesterday and today – timeless, understated, and deeply serene.
