Stepping into this apartment, you should feel like you’re coming back to a place that truly welcomes you — a temporary home where nothing is left to chance. This was the client’s vision from the very beginning, when LAINS started planning while the shell was still under construction. Warm earth tones, oak wood, and soft fabrics create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Every room holds a special touch — from playful light effects to unexpected design details.
The living and dining areas are bright and open, while the kitchen remains elegantly discreet, hidden behind a sheer curtain. An aged wooden beam tells the story of the building’s origins, complemented by a handcrafted swing hanging by the dining table.
The lounge can easily transform into a second bedroom when needed, enclosed by heavy curtains for privacy. And the master bedroom? Featuring a freestanding bathtub set against a historic stone wall, plus a small oak bio sauna — a true sanctuary. A carefully designed lighting scheme makes this apartment a warm retreat in the heart of Merano — modern, inviting, a little nest to call home.
