Hansel und Gretel Chalet

A fairytale hideaway deep in the woods: to stumble upon this chalet, you first need to get a little lost in the forest – just like Hansel and Gretel in the storybook. The concept? A gingerbread house brought to life, with a snow-covered façade that glistens like icing sugar, straight out of a winter tale. 

Set over three floors, the chalet on the Mendel is especially charming on the top floor, where sloped ceilings and warm finishes give it a cosy attic vibe. Inside, stained oak, wool rugs and generously cushioned sofas create a snug, inviting feel. The terrace winds its way through the forest in natural steps, blending seamlessly into the landscape. Still under construction, the chalet is already beginning to reflect the dream that inspired it.
