A hotel that does things a little differently
With AUI, an existing hotel in Meransen takes on a new identity. More relaxed, more open, with plenty of room for people to come together.
The mountains? Of course they’re there. But instead of falling back on Alpine clichés, we bring their atmosphere indoors: warm woods, natural materials, earthy tones and details that reference South Tyrol without trying to recreate it. Familiar, yet new.
Come together
On the ground floor, traditional hotel boundaries begin to disappear. Reception, lounge, bar, community kitchen and workation areas flow into one another, creating one large shared living room.
A place to check in, cook, work, have a drink – or simply stay a little longer.
The Community Kitchen plays a special role. It brings guests together, turning what could be a purely functional hotel space into a lively meeting point. Not everything is predetermined. There’s room for things to simply happen.
